Condor Energies hits 17,925 boe/d with two new Uzbekistan wells

Condor Energies Inc. (TSX: CDR) reported a production rate of 17,925 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) over a 24-hour period after connecting two newly drilled horizontal wells, Kumli-43 (K-43) and Kumli-44 (K-44), to its production facilities in Uzbekistan.

K-43 reached a total depth of 3,095 meters, including an 830-meter lateral section. A four-hour production test recorded a stabilized rate of 13.0 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d), or 2,167 boe/d, through a 1-inch choke at a flowing tubing pressure of 667 psi. The well initially peaked at 17.8 MMscf/d before being rate-restricted to manage high gas stream velocities. K-44 reached a total depth of 3,188 meters with a 905-meter lateral and tested at a stabilized rate of 5.0 MMscf/d, or 833 boe/d. The company said K-44 results indicate that targeted stimulation is needed to improve flow in lower-permeability intervals and that re-stimulation is planned once a technical plan is finalized.

Both wells were drilled horizontally into an upper reservoir interval within the same 8.3-meter net pay zone confirmed by the previously drilled K-42 vertical well.

The company said the 17,925 boe/d figure represents a 64% increase in 2026 year-to-date production, though it noted that high ambient temperatures have negatively affected downstream gas compressor performance and temporarily raised pipeline pressures by up to 20%, reducing well productivity.

Two rigs are currently drilling the K-48 and K-50 horizontal wells, which target a lower reservoir interval. Both are expected to reach total depth by mid-September 2026. The company also deployed what it described as Uzbekistan's first rotary steerable system on K-43.

Condor noted that it recognizes 100% of production volumes from its Uzbekistan project, of which 51% are attributable to the company after allocating 49% to a non-controlling interest holder.
