Realbotix robot to appear on Emmy-winning streaming series
Realbotix LLC, the target of a pending acquisition by Onconetix, Inc. (Nasdaq: ONCO), has entered into an agreement with a streaming platform to feature one of its humanoid robots as a character in an upcoming episode of an Emmy-awarded television series.
Onconetix disclosed the development on behalf of Realbotix Corp. (TSX-V: XBOT; OTC: XBOTF), the parent of Realbotix LLC, noting the entertainment agreement adds another market to Realbotix's existing deployments in education, healthcare, hospitality, and customer engagement.
Realbotix's robots are designed to function as physical embodiments of AI systems and also support digital counterparts accessible through mobile devices, desktop platforms, and robotic interfaces.
Onconetix entered into a definitive share exchange agreement on February 12, 2026, to acquire 100% of the equity interests of Realbotix LLC in an all-stock transaction. The combined company is expected to trade on Nasdaq following the close of the deal, which is anticipated in the second half of 2026, subject to Onconetix shareholder approval, required regulatory approvals, and other closing conditions.
Onconetix is a Cincinnati, Ohio-based biotechnology company focused on oncology. The information in this article is based on a press release issued by Onconetix.
