Tradeweb July 2026 ADV rises 23.3% YoY to $2.9 trillion

Tradeweb Markets Inc. (Nasdaq: TW) reported total trading volume of $67.5 trillion for July 2026, with average daily volume (ADV) of $2.9 trillion, a 23.3% increase year-over-year, according to a company press release.
In rates, U.S. government bond ADV rose 26.1% year-over-year to $258.0 billion, while European government bond ADV climbed 20.8% to $61.4 billion. Swaps/swaptions with maturities of one year or more posted ADV of $564.5 billion, up 45.3% year-over-year, and total rates derivatives ADV increased 49.9% to $1.2 trillion.
In credit, fully electronic U.S. credit ADV rose 15.7% year-over-year to $9.4 billion, and European credit ADV gained 4.7% to $3.0 billion. Credit derivatives ADV more than doubled, rising 101.2% year-over-year to $21.1 billion. Municipal bond ADV fell 7.7% to $456 million, broadly in line with a market decline of 6.8% as measured by MSRB data.
In equities, U.S. ETF ADV increased 50.6% year-over-year to $11.4 billion, while international ETF ADV rose 31.3% to $4.0 billion.
In money markets, repo ADV grew 7.2% year-over-year to $832.9 billion. Other money markets ADV edged up 0.5% to $272.2 billion.
Tradeweb reported a 18.8% share of fully electronic U.S. high grade TRACE volume and 7.9% of U.S. high yield TRACE, as measured by the company. Total share of U.S. high grade TRACE was 27.1% and U.S. high yield TRACE was 9.9%.
