Bausch + Lomb Corporation (NYSE: BLCO) has appointed four new members to its board of directors, effective Aug. 5, 2026, at the request of majority shareholder Bausch Health Companies Inc., which owns approximately 87% of the company's outstanding common shares.
The new directors are Thomas J. Appio, CEO of Bausch Health; Robert Chersi, founder of Chersi Services LLC and a professor at Pace University; Laurence Paul, MD, co-founder and managing principal of Laurel Crown Partners LLC; and Barbara Trebbi, president and co-CEO of Landry Trebbi Investment Corp.
The appointments replace four departing directors: Steven Collis, Karen Ling, Thomas Ross and Andrew von Eschenbach, MD, each of whom resigned to facilitate the new appointments. The company stated none of the resignations resulted from any disagreement with the company.

The company said growth was broad-based across all segments, with double-digit revenue growth in its Surgical and Pharmaceuticals segments.
Net cash provided by operating activities increased from $32 million in the first quarter to $153 million in the second quarter. Adjusted cash flow from operations (non-GAAP) rose from $45 million in the first quarter to $161 million in the second quarter.
The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, which it raised on July 29, 2026, projecting revenue of $5.440 billion to $5.540 billion and Adjusted EBITDA excluding Acquired IPR&D (non-GAAP) of $1.025 billion to $1.075 billion. The guidance does not account for any changes in tariff policy.
