Interactive Brokers Group (NASDAQ: IBKR) announced that eligible clients outside of Brazil can now trade Brazilian futures through the B3 exchange, expanding on existing equity access the broker already offered on that market.
The addition gives international clients access to both futures and equities listed on B3, alongside products across more than 170 markets worldwide. The service is not available to residents of Brazil, and product availability varies by Interactive Brokers affiliate and client country of residence.
"Global investors deserve seamless, low-cost access to the world's most compelling markets, including emerging economies shaping tomorrow's financial landscape," said Milan Galik, Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Brokers. "The addition of B3 futures allows our clients to engage with a dynamic and fast-growing economy within the same unified experience they rely on to trade across markets worldwide."
Interactive Brokers claims to have been the first broker to provide international investors with streamlined access to B3.
