Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation (NYSE: VAC) has appointed Vladimir Anokhin as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, according to a company statement. Anokhin will report to Chief Executive Officer Matt Avril and join the company's Executive Leadership Team.
In the role, Anokhin will oversee transformation initiatives, data analytics, artificial intelligence adoption, and product development.
Anokhin most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer at Invited Clubs, an owner and operator of private golf and country clubs, where he worked on analytics, technology, and business performance. Before that, he held the roles of Chief of Staff and Global Head of Product Development at Diamond Resorts. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking with a focus on real estate, lodging, and leisure, including advising on the sale of Vistana Signature Experiences to Interval Leisure Group in 2015.
"Vlad offers a unique combination of hospitality and operational leadership experience, along with a proven track record of delivering results," Avril said in the statement.
Marriott Vacations Worldwide operates 120 vacation ownership resorts and serves approximately 700,000 owner families. The company also manages an exchange network of more than 3,200 affiliated resorts across more than 90 countries and territories.
