Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has announced the launch of Alpamayo 2 Super, a reasoning model designed for autonomous vehicles and mobile robots, according to a statement from the company's CEO Jensen Huang.
The model is described as a "frontier open reasoning model" intended to serve as a backbone for robotaxis, trucks, shuttles, delivery vans, tractors, and other autonomous machines.
Nvidia is releasing Alpamayo 2 Super for commercial use under the OpenMDW-1.1 license, which Huang said allows teams to inspect, fine-tune, and deploy the model.
