Exyn Technologies (NASDAQ: EXYN) announced a collaboration with UP Caeli Via, an Italian manufacturer of professional unmanned aerial systems, to integrate Exyn's ExynAI software and Nexys autonomous mapping platform with UP Caeli Via's ARGOS aerial platform.
The integration enables autonomous flight, real-time mapping, and 3D data collection without GPS, prior maps, or continuous operator control. The detachable Nexys payload allows data capture to continue through alternative deployment methods when aerial access is unavailable.
According to a press release, the two companies are already working on commercial deployments with an unnamed luxury vehicle manufacturer, where the integrated system is being used for autonomous inspection and reality capture workflows inside industrial facilities.
Brandon Torres Declet, CEO of Exyn Technologies, said, "Demand for autonomous robotics continues to expand, customers increasingly want the flexibility to deploy ExynAI across the platform best suited for each mission."
Gianni Baggio, Founder and CEO of UP Caeli Via, said the combined solution is designed to collect "critical 3D data in environments that are difficult or unsafe to access," with an emphasis on data security and customer-controlled data management.
The collaboration is part of Exyn's stated strategy to expand the number of robotic platforms capable of running ExynAI, targeting industrial inspection, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, and government applications.
