EVgo Inc. (NASDAQ: EVGO) and Brixmor Property Group Inc. (NYSE: BRX) are expanding their partnership to add more than 500 fast charging stalls at Brixmor shopping centers across the United States, according to a press release dated Aug. 3, 2026.
Once the expansion is complete, at least 90 Brixmor shopping centers — representing more than 25% of Brixmor's portfolio — will feature EVgo fast chargers. New locations are planned in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
Deployment is scheduled to begin later in 2026, with the first site of the expanded partnership expected at Barn Plaza, located in a Philadelphia suburb. Each new site will feature up to 12 high-power EVgo chargers.
"Drivers across the U.S. want infrastructure options that integrate seamlessly into their routines, and shopping centers are an ideal place to get groceries, grab a bite or shop while charging," said Scott Levitan, Executive Vice President, Growth at EVgo.
EVgo and Brixmor's partnership dates to 2016, when EVgo deployed its first charger at a Brixmor shopping center in Pleasanton, California. EVgo currently operates more than 1,200 fast charging stations across 47 states.
