Fresenius Medical Care AG (Frankfurt: FME, NYSE: FMS) has appointed Cassie McLean, 48, to its Management Board as Chief Executive Officer of the Care Delivery operating segment, effective Aug. 1, 2026. She succeeds Craig Cordola, 54, in the role.

McLean joined Fresenius Medical Care in August 2025 as President of Fresenius Kidney Care. In her new position, she will have direct accountability for the global clinic business, including Fresenius Kidney Care in the U.S. and Care Delivery International.

Before joining the company, McLean served as CEO of Monte Nido, a behavioral health company focused on eating disorders. Prior to that, she spent nearly 16 years at DaVita Kidney Care in roles including Group Vice President. She holds a Master of Public Administration in Healthcare Finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Colorado College.

Supervisory Board Chairman Michael Sen said the appointment reflects confidence in McLean's ability to accelerate progress in Care Delivery, and thanked Cordola for his contributions.

CEO Helen Giza noted that since joining the company, McLean had worked to improve operational visibility, implement new accountability structures, and strengthen talent in the U.S. clinic business.

Fresenius Medical Care operates a network of 3,513 dialysis clinics and provides treatments for approximately 290,000 patients globally, according to the company's statement.
