VisionWave files international trademark for its StratumAI platform
VisionWave Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: VWAV) has filed an application for international trademark registration under the Madrid Protocol for its VisionWave Stratum platform, according to a company statement.
The application, assigned number 99623991, designates the European Union, the United Kingdom, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates as target jurisdictions.
The filing covers software and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technologies, including artificial intelligence, defense applications, robotics, autonomous air, land and sea systems, guidance systems, and customizable operating platforms for unmanned vehicles.
StratumAI is described by the company as an AI assistant designed for the defense and national security sectors that is currently under development. The platform is intended to serve engineers, analysts, researchers, and decision-makers with source-cited technical information across areas including cybersecurity, radio-frequency sensing, electronic warfare, and open-source intelligence.
"Taking steps to protect our intellectual property internationally is an important milestone as we continue expanding VisionWave's AI capabilities," said Douglas Davis, Chief Executive Officer of VisionWave Holdings.
The international application is based on the company's existing U.S. trademark application. VisionWave noted that no assurance can be given that the application will result in registration in any designated jurisdiction, as it remains subject to examination and potential opposition. Any resulting international registration will remain dependent on the underlying U.S. application for a period of five years.
