Heritage Global Inc. (NASDAQ: HGBL) announced it will substantially wind down Heritage Global Capital (HGC), its specialty lending business, and expects to record a material non-cash charge in the second quarter of 2026 related to the write-down of non-performing loans within the unit.
The San Diego-based company said it needs additional time to determine the exact size of the non-cash charge, prompting it to reschedule its second quarter 2026 earnings conference call from August 6, 2026 to August 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Heritage Global describes itself as an asset services company specializing in financial and industrial asset transactions, operating through two business units: Industrial Assets and Financial Assets.
