Jiade Limited shares to resume trading on Nasdaq after halt
Jiade Limited (NASDAQ: JDZG), a China-based education services company, announced that Nasdaq has cleared the way for its Class A ordinary shares to resume trading at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on July 31, 2026, following a halt that began June 4, 2026.
Nasdaq halted trading under halt code "T12 — Additional Information Requested by Nasdaq," citing Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(a). The Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department requested information relating to recent trading activity in the company's shares, a registered direct offering completed in two tranches on May 7 and June 1, 2026, a 25-for-1 share consolidation effected March 23, 2026, a 10-for-1 share consolidation effected June 1, 2026, a follow-on offering completed in December 2025, and certain prior financing transactions.
The company submitted written responses on June 10, June 17, and July 2, 2026. Nasdaq advised the company it had no further questions following its review.
According to the company's statement, it is not aware of any undisclosed corporate development or material non-public information that would account for the trading activity. The company said the increase in price and volume beginning around April 10, 2026, most likely reflects publicly available information regarding the registered direct offering.
Both share consolidations were undertaken to maintain compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price requirement under Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). As of July 30, 2026, the company had 5,137,303 Class A ordinary shares and 294,209 Class B ordinary shares issued and outstanding.
