Supermicro launches AI rack portfolio with liquid cooling support

Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) announced a new portfolio of racks designed for high-density AI data center deployments, the company said in a press release dated July 30, 2026.

The lineup includes ten rack models in 44OU, 48U, 48OU, and 52U configurations, spanning three platforms: the Nvidia Vera Rubin/GB300 MGX platform, the OCP ORv3 platform, and an EIA standard platform. All models are built around the ORv3 standard and support liquid cooling integration, including in-rack and in-row cooling distribution units, rear-door heat exchangers, and liquid cooling manifolds.

The racks carry a certified static load capacity of up to 5,500 lb. (2,500 kg) and have passed GR-63-CORE Zone 4 seismic and vibration testing. Supermicro says the racks are factory pre-assembled and shipped in shock and vibration tested crates, ready for installation upon delivery.

Charles Liang, president and CEO of Supermicro, said the company can deliver up to 3,000 racks per month, including 2,000 liquid-cooled units, from manufacturing facilities in Silicon Valley, the Netherlands, and Taiwan.
