Leidos launches AI cybersecurity platform called Parcata

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has introduced a proprietary AI platform called Parcata, designed to autonomously detect and patch software vulnerabilities, according to a press release from the Reston, Virginia-based company.

The platform uses multiple large language models and is described as model-agnostic. It is built to identify vulnerabilities in both first- and third-party software and can address zero-day vulnerabilities in real time.

Parcata was developed by Leidos' Kudu Dynamics team, and its underlying technology was validated through DARPA's AI Cyber Challenge. The company said the platform has been tested in internal technical exercises and is currently being used against Leidos' own code before deployment in mission environments.

"The use of AI by cyber adversaries has changed the game. We must detect and remediate before a breach," said Jason O'Connor, president of Leidos Intelligence. "Parcata will help organizations stay ahead of evolving threats. This tool will make sense out of the chaos and ensure the mission isn't dependent on any single frontier model."

Leidos reported annual revenues of approximately $17.2 billion for the fiscal year ended January 2, 2026, and employs more than 50,000 people globally.
