Boxlight Corporation (Nasdaq: BOXL) said shareholders approved an amendment to its Articles of Incorporation to increase the number of authorized shares of its Class A common stock to 55,000,000, according to a press release.
The vote took place at the company's reconvened Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on July 23, 2026. The amendment raises the authorized share count from its previous level to 55,000,000 shares of Class A common stock.
Ryan Zeek, Chief Financial Officer of Boxlight, said the approval "provides Boxlight with additional corporate flexibility to support our long-term strategic objectives."
The company said the increased authorization is intended to provide flexibility for future corporate purposes, subject to applicable law, Nasdaq listing requirements, and board approval. Boxlight said it expects to report final voting results in a Current Report on Form 8-K to be filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
