Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) has entered into a Transitional Advisory Services Agreement with John Hight, President of Wizards of the Coast, outlining his planned departure from the role, according to a company statement.
Hight will continue in his current position through September 1, 2026, after which he will transition to an Advisor role reporting directly to the CEO. He will remain in that advisory capacity until September 2, 2027, or earlier if his employment is terminated under the terms of the agreement.
In his advisory role, Hight's responsibilities will include assisting with transitional efforts and supporting the onboarding of a successor President of Wizards of the Coast.
During the advisory period, Hight's base salary will remain at its current annualized rate of $800,000. He will be eligible for an annual cash bonus for fiscal year 2026 under Hasbro's Annual Incentive Plan, but will not receive a bonus for fiscal year 2027 and will not be eligible for new equity grants during the advisory term. His existing long-term incentive awards will continue to vest through the end of the agreement or the date of termination, whichever comes first.
The agreement was entered into on July 27, 2026.
