Draganfly partners with SRLEEA on rural law enforcement drone program

Draganfly Inc. (NASDAQ: DPRO) announced an exclusive partnership with the Small & Rural Law Enforcement Executives Association (SRLEEA) to launch the SRLEEA Drone Implementation & Readiness Program, a service designed to help small, rural, and tribal law enforcement agencies build and sustain drone programs.

The two organizations formally executed an agreement ahead of the 2026 SRLEEA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, where a ceremonial signing took place. According to the press release, SRLEEA selected Draganfly after considering a range of potential partners.

SRLEEA represents more than 90% of law enforcement agencies across the United States. These agencies typically serve large geographic areas with limited personnel and constrained budgets.

The program will provide participating agencies with policy and program development guidance, FAA Part 107 preparation, hands-on flight training, mission-specific instruction, and access to drone platforms, sensors, and software through Draganfly. Supported missions include search and rescue, disaster response, crime scene documentation, and critical incident assessment.

"Small, rural, and tribal law enforcement agencies protect the majority of communities across North America, often with fewer officers and fewer resources than larger departments," said Cameron Chell, President and CEO of Draganfly.

Mike Brown, President and Executive Director of SRLEEA, said the program will provide agencies with "a clear, responsible path to adopting drone technology, supported by trusted guidance, standardized training, proven best practices, and long-term program support."
