Spirit Blockchain Capital names Suha Askary as CEO

Spirit Blockchain Capital Inc. (OTCQB: SBLCF) has appointed Suha Askary as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, according to a press release from the Vancouver-based company.

With the appointment, Raymond O'Neill has stepped down as Interim Chief Executive Officer and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Askary brings more than 30 years of executive experience in investment management, institutional capital markets and emerging technologies. She previously served as CEO of Al Bashayer Investment Company and Yield Investments Ltd.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and postgraduate credentials in Blockchain Innovation from the University of California, Berkeley.

O'Neill said in a statement that Askary's experience in international transactions, strategic partnerships and technology commercialization "aligns directly with Spirit's long-term vision."

Spirit Blockchain Capital is a Canadian publicly listed company focused on blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, decentralized finance and artificial intelligence investments.
