Genpact launches AI suite for bank anti-money laundering work

July 23, 2026 11:00 AM EDT

Genpact (NYSE: G) has launched the Genpact Banking Analyst Suite, an enterprise product that applies agentic AI to regulated banking operations, according to a company statement issued July 23, 2026.

The first module, Genpact Transaction Monitoring Analyst, is now generally available and targets anti-money laundering alert investigations. The system coordinates AI agents to assess customer behavior, analyze transactions, validate profiles, review prior alerts, and generate decision-ready recommendations. Human analysts retain final approval, and the system does not take regulated action without that sign-off.

Genpact projects that in-scope AML alert investigations could see handling time reduced by up to 80% and total cost of ownership lowered by up to 40%. The company noted that projected outcomes vary by client environment, data quality, and implementation scope.

AMP Limited, an Australia- and New Zealand-based financial services company, is among the first institutions to deploy the module. Sean O'Malley, Group Executive of AMP Bank, said the tool aims to "streamline investigations, improve consistency, and accelerate case resolution."

Satish Acharya, Service Line Leader for Financial Crime and Risk Management at Genpact, said the solution is built on the company's experience running financial crime programs for large financial institutions, including reviews of millions of alerts annually.

For institutions using Genpact's riskCanvas financial crime platform, the Banking Analyst Suite will run natively alongside that system. Genpact said it plans to extend the suite to additional workflows, including customer due diligence, screening, fraud, and customer service.
