OptimizeRx names Sarah Bast as chief marketing officer

OptimizeRx Corp. (Nasdaq: OPRX) has appointed Sarah Bast as chief marketing officer, the Waltham, Massachusetts-based healthcare technology company announced July 23, 2026.
Bast brings more than two decades of pharmaceutical marketing experience to the role, with a background in point-of-care media strategy, analytics, and optimization. She most recently served as executive vice president of investment marketplace at Publicis Health Media, where she developed partnerships and solutions spanning point-of-care media, electronic health records, and telehealth.
During her career, Bast worked with life sciences companies including Lilly, Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, and AstraZeneca.
In her new role, Bast will oversee OptimizeRx's marketing strategy, brand positioning, and go-to-market initiatives, with a focus on relationships with healthcare marketing agencies and in-house life sciences marketing teams.

Chief Executive Officer Steve Silvestro said in a statement that Bast "has spent her career helping life sciences brands solve complex marketing challenges and understands firsthand how healthcare marketers can reach providers more effectively."
