N-able earns Omdia managed BDR Champion title for third straight year

July 23, 2026 7:00 AM EDT

N-able, Inc. (NYSE: NABL) has been named a Champion in the 2026 Omdia Global Managed Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) Leadership Matrix for the third consecutive year, according to a company press release.

The recognition applies to N-able's Cove Data Protection product, which covers backup, recovery testing, security, and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). The company states that DRaaS is now integrated into Cove, allowing production workloads to be mirrored in a cloud-hosted environment to support faster failover without requiring customers to build and manage their own disaster recovery infrastructure.

Omdia estimates the managed services segment, including Backup as a Service and DRaaS, will reach approximately $38 billion in 2026, growing at more than 16%.

"Data protection is a core part of cyber resilience, and Cove's continued recognition as a Champion for three years running reflects the differentiators that set it apart — ease of use, operational efficiency, and the ability to scale with our customers' businesses," said Chris Groot, General Manager of Cove.

The BDR recognition follows N-able's third consecutive Champion placement in the Omdia RMM and PSA Leadership Matrix earlier this year. N-able states it serves more than 500,000 organizations worldwide.
