Visteon posts Q2 sales of $960M, launches $200M share buyback

Visteon Corporation (NASDAQ: VC) reported net sales of $960 million for the second quarter of 2026, down from $969 million in the same period a year earlier, according to a company press release. Net income attributable to Visteon was $49 million, or $1.80 per diluted share, compared with $71 million, or $2.57 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.



Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, was $116 million, representing a 12.1% margin, compared with $134 million in the second quarter of 2025. Operating cash flow for the quarter was $37 million, and adjusted free cash flow was $20 million. The company ended the quarter with cash of $650 million and debt of $299 million, resulting in a net cash position of $351 million.



Visteon also announced it has entered into a $200 million accelerated share repurchase agreement under its previously announced $800 million share repurchase authorization. The company said the program is expected to be completed early in the fourth quarter of 2026.



The company reported approximately $2.0 billion in new business wins during the quarter, including a SmartCore high-performance compute award with a premium vehicle brand of a large Chinese OEM, awards with North American OEMs, and wins in India, as well as commercial vehicle and two-wheeler contracts.



Visteon launched 24 new products across 11 customers during the quarter, including an integrated display system for a German premium OEM and a vehicle control unit for Royal Enfield's first electric motorcycle.



For the first six months of 2026, cash from operations was $43 million, capital expenditures were $61 million, and adjusted free cash flow was an outflow of $3 million. The company's full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance midpoint stands at $475 million.
