Astrotech adds capital markets veteran Matt Kreps to its board

Astrotech Corporation (Nasdaq: ASTC) has expanded its board of directors from five to six members, appointing Matt Kreps as a director, according to a press release from the Austin, Texas-based instrumentation company.
Kreps has held senior investor relations and capital markets roles across multiple publicly traded companies. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. (CSE: HG; OTCQB: HGRAF) and has served as Managing Director at Darrow Associates Investor Relations since 2016. Prior to that, he held investor relations positions at Shelton Group, Magnolia Investor Relations, and Halliburton Investor Relations.
Kreps holds an Executive MBA in Global Leadership from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Kansas State University.
Thomas B. Pickens III, Chairman and CEO of Astrotech, said the appointment is intended to help the company communicate its strategy, expand its shareholder base, and improve engagement with investors and analysts.
Astrotech operates through subsidiaries focused on trace detection, process analyzers, gas chromatography, and environmental testing instruments.
