High-Trend International Group (NASDAQ: HTCO) reported unaudited total revenue of $137.5 million for the six months ended April 30, 2026, up 38.3% from $99.4 million in the same period a year earlier, according to a press release from the company.
Ocean freight revenue accounted for the majority of the increase, rising $37.9 million, or 38.3%, to $136.9 million. Vessel services and other revenue totaled $0.5 million, compared with $0.4 million in the prior-year period.
Total voyage days reached 4,698 for the six-month period, an increase of 1,278 days from 3,420 days in the comparable period. The average charge per day was approximately $29,149, compared with $28,945 in the prior-year period.
The company said the Baltic Dry Index stood at 2,686 points as of April 30, 2026, and that expanded coal transportation routes contributed to the revenue growth. HTCO also said it has begun transporting lithium resources, including spodumene, which it described as a growing segment of its business.
"The first half of fiscal 2026 demonstrates the resilience and growth potential of our core ocean freight business," said Christopher Nixon Cox, HTCO Chairman of the Board. "Our revenue surge of nearly 38% reflects not only favorable market conditions as evidenced by the elevated BDI, but also increased coal transportation routes and increased dry bulk activity."
