Cognyte names Adam Philpott as chief revenue officer

Cognyte Software Ltd. (NASDAQ: CGNT) has appointed Adam Philpott as Chief Revenue Officer, effective August 1, 2026. Philpott will report to Chief Executive Officer Elad Sharon and join Cognyte's executive management team, according to a press release from the company.



Philpott succeeds Efi Nuri, who will retire after more than 30 years of service following a leadership transition.



Philpott brings more than 25 years of experience in go-to-market organizations across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions. He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Trellix, the company formed by combining McAfee Enterprise and FireEye, where he led a global commercial organization of more than 1,000 people. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Fingerprint Cards, a publicly traded biometrics company. Earlier in his career, he held senior sales leadership roles at McAfee and Cisco. Philpott is based in London.



"Adam brings a proven track record of scaling global businesses and executing disciplined go-to-market strategies worldwide," said CEO Elad Sharon.



Cognyte, headquartered in Herzliya, Israel, provides AI-powered investigative analytics software to law enforcement, national security, and military intelligence agencies.
