July 22, 2026 7:01 AM EDT

Curis, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRIS) released updated clinical data from its TakeAim Lymphoma registrational study in Primary CNS Lymphoma (PCNSL) and provided revised enrollment guidance for its Phase 2 TakeAim CLL study in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, according to a company statement dated July 22, 2026.

In the PCNSL study, data as of July 1, 2026 showed that among evaluable BTKi-naïve patients, 5 of 5 achieved an objective response rate (ORR) of 100%, compared with 71% ORR reported in previous data from May 2025. Among BTKi-experienced evaluable patients, 10 of 30 achieved a 33% ORR, compared with 27% ORR previously reported across all patients.

For the TakeAim CLL study, Curis said the number of consented patients has risen to 10, up from six announced on July 6, 2026. The company said it expects to dose the first five patients by the end of July. Curis also raised its year-end data guidance to 5–10 patients in December 2026, up from a prior guidance of five patients.

"We are especially excited by the results in the BTKi-experienced patients for whom there are no approved therapies, where emavusertib has shown it can reverse disease progression in patients currently progressing on a BTK inhibitor," said James Dentzer, Chief Executive Officer of Curis.

The TakeAim Lymphoma study evaluates emavusertib in combination with ibrutinib in PCNSL patients. Curis previously announced that both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the European Medicines Agency indicated the ongoing study could support an application for accelerated approval in relapsed/refractory PCNSL.

The TakeAim CLL study is an open-label Phase 2 trial evaluating emavusertib combined with zanubrutinib in CLL patients who have measurable residual disease after at least 12 months on zanubrutinib.

Curis noted in its statement that based on available cash resources, it does not have sufficient cash on hand to support current operations within the next 12 months.
