EpicQuest Education begins beta testing AI tutoring platform
EpicQuest Education Group International Limited (NASDAQ: EEIQ) announced it has begun beta testing an AI tutoring platform for students at its Davis University in Toledo, Ohio, and Davis Academy in Vancouver, Canada, with a planned full launch in September for the Fall quarter.
The platform is designed to offer individualized and adaptive learning, real-time feedback, and around-the-clock availability. It also includes multilingual support intended for international students. The system combines AI with traditional tutors and references course materials to provide step-by-step reasoning rather than direct answers.
"Our AI tutoring platform is designed to provide individualized, adaptive learning, real-time feedback and 24/7 availability to help students advance academically," said Diane Brunner, President of Davis University.
Current beta testing is focused on importing Management Certificate Program courses and completing vectorization — the process of converting raw data into a mathematical digital format — ahead of the September rollout. The platform is being developed to align with the academic integrity policies of both institutions.
The AI system includes analytics tools intended to track student performance and course effectiveness, which the company says could enable early academic intervention. The platform is based on a blended model that pairs AI tools with human tutors.
