Sidus Space, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIDU) issued a letter to shareholders from CEO and founder Carol Craig on July 21, 2026, outlining the company's shift toward commercialization and detailing recent financial and operational developments.
According to the letter, the Cape Canaveral, Fla.-based space and defense technology company raised approximately $170 million over the past six months. The company also said it was added to the Russell 2000, Russell 3000, and Russell Microcap Indexes.
"Today, our focus is shifting from proving our technology to scaling its commercial application and that distinction is important," Craig said. "Success is no longer measured simply by launching satellites or demonstrating technical capability. It will increasingly be measured by customer adoption, recurring revenue, operating leverage, and long-term shareholder value."
The letter cited the design, manufacture, launch, and on-orbit demonstration of multiple generations of the LizzieSat satellite platform, as well as continued production of two next-generation, software-defined LizzieSat spacecraft. The company also noted advancement of its Fortis VPX digital mission computing platform and Orlaith AI ecosystem through testing ahead of customer evaluations.
Sidus Space said its defense pipeline has expanded, including participation in the Missile Defense Agency SHIELD contract vehicle, and that it has broadened its international presence through strategic partnerships. The company also said it is modernizing its 35,000-square-foot manufacturing and integration facility to support scalable production.
