Core AI Holdings expands HomeGPT as residential AI decision platform

July 21, 2026 8:15 AM EDT

Core AI Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHAI) announced it is expanding HomeGPT, its AI-powered home design and renovation platform, to serve as a broader residential decision tool covering planning, renovation and property purchasing decisions.

HomeGPT uses multimodal generative AI, spatial understanding, image editing and AI video capabilities to convert a single home photograph into multiple design concepts. Features include interior, exterior and garden design tools, along with floor plan generation and AI-generated video walkthroughs.

The platform is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

According to the company, HomeGPT is designed to support consumers before significant capital is committed to renovation or purchasing decisions. The platform targets potential revenue through consumer subscriptions, usage credits, high-resolution exports and professional collaboration tools for designers, real estate professionals and contractors.

"The real value of residential AI is not simply producing a beautiful image—it is reducing uncertainty around one of the largest financial decisions consumers make," said Aitan Zacharin, Chief Executive Officer of Core AI Holdings.

The company cited U.S. housing market data showing total housing starts rose 19.0% in June, while single-family housing starts fell 0.2% and single-family building permits declined 2.4%. Builder confidence stood at 34 in July, with the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate at 6.55%.

Core AI also noted recent funding activity in the residential AI sector, including a $95 million Series C round by Higharc, $40 million raised by Probook and a $100 million investment in Runpod, though none of those transactions involve Core AI directly.

Core AI Holdings also operates Core Gaming, an AI-driven mobile game development subsidiary that has recorded over 800 million downloads across more than 140 countries.
