ZenaDrone to begin U.S. defense agency demos, starting with IQ Nano

ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) announced that its U.S.-based subsidiary ZenaDrone is scheduling technology demonstrations with U.S. government defense agencies, beginning with one confirmed agency engagement for its IQ Nano indoor drone.

According to a press release, the IQ Nano — a compact indoor drone designed for automated inventory management inside facilities such as armories and ammunition supply points — has already received a request for demonstration. Additional demonstrations are being planned over the coming months.

Other platforms slated for defense demonstrations include the ZenaDrone 1000, a medium-sized VTOL drone designed for cargo transport and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, and the IQ Square, designed for outdoor line-of-sight inspections.

"Planning these demonstrations with U.S. government defense agencies over the coming months is an important signal that our platforms are maturing, and we believe it positions ZenaDrone to compete for future pilot programs and procurement opportunities," said Shaun Passley, Ph.D., ZenaTech CEO.

ZenaDrone is also continuing to advance through the Blue UAS certification process, which is required for inclusion on the Defense Innovation Unit's approved products list for U.S. government procurement. Cyber testing across three ZenaDrone platforms is scheduled for this summer as part of that certification process.

ZenaTech operates three drone manufacturing facilities in Arizona, Dubai, and Taiwan, and has stated it is working to establish a fourth facility in Ukraine.
