Venu Holding Corporation (NYSE American: VENU) has secured a $20 million bridge loan financing facility with Ryan, LLC to fund ongoing construction of its Sunset Amphitheater in McKinney, Texas, according to a press release from the company.
The 20,000-seat entertainment venue is targeted to open in the first quarter of 2027. The bridge facility is intended to carry the company to permanent financing, which Venu expects to close in the third quarter of fiscal 2026. That permanent financing is expected to fully fund the remaining construction balance for the McKinney project.
Ryan has served as a national expansion partner to Venu since 2023, sourcing development sites and structuring public-private partnerships. Ryan also serves as Venu's official tax partner.
"This financing lets us keep construction moving on one of our most anticipated venues without diluting shareholders and keeps the asset on our balance sheet," said J.W. Roth, founder, chairman, and CEO of Venu.
G. Brint Ryan, chairman and CEO of Ryan, said the firm was pleased to extend the relationship through the financing and support continued development of the McKinney project.
Venu stated the bridge structure is consistent with its current capital strategy of funding growth through public-private partnerships and fractional ownership structures rather than equity offerings.
