Eagle Nuclear Energy reports Q2 2026 update with $28.1M cash

Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: NUCL) released its second-quarter corporate update for the period ending May 31, 2026, reporting a cash balance of $28.1 million and no outstanding interest-bearing debt.
The Reno, Nevada-based company said it advanced environmental and site-readiness work at its Aurora Uranium Project in southeastern Oregon, which it claims is the largest conventional, measured and indicated uranium deposit in the United States. The Aurora deposit holds 32.75 million pounds indicated and 4.98 million pounds inferred of uranium resource under SK-1300 standards.
Key operational milestones during the quarter included filing permit applications with the federal Bureau of Land Management and the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries, completing meteorological station installation, a wetland delineation study, and a cultural survey. The company also launched an environmental baseline studies campaign intended to support future permitting and mine design.
In July 2026, Eagle announced partnerships with Yukuskon Professional Services, LLC, BBA USA Inc., and SLR International Corporation to support the Aurora drill program. The company is targeting completion of a Pre-Feasibility Study in late 2027.
In June 2026, Eagle engaged Tensor Medium Corporation to provide AI-enabled reactor modeling and simulation services in support of its Small Modular Reactor development program.
The company also held meetings with representatives from the Uranium Producers of America and the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Critical Minerals and Energy Innovation during the quarter.
