Ross Stores opens 47 new locations across 15 states and territories

Ross Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROST) opened 47 new stores during June and July, comprising 35 Ross Dress for Less and 12 dd's Discounts locations across 15 states and territories, according to a press release.
The company said it is on track to open approximately 110 stores in 2026. The new Ross Dress for Less locations include expansion into Puerto Rico, New York, and Michigan, as well as additional stores in Sunbelt states. New dd's Discounts stores were added in California, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas.
Richard Lietz, Executive Vice President of Property Development, said the openings build on store performance in 2025 and earlier 2026 openings.
Ross Stores currently operates 1,952 Ross Dress for Less locations across 44 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico, along with 376 dd's Discounts stores in 23 states. The company reported fiscal 2025 revenues of $22.8 billion and is headquartered in Dublin, California.
In connection with the new openings, the company made donations to local Boys & Girls Clubs and First Book literacy partners.
