Investing.com -- Chevron Corp shut production at its Petronius facility in the Gulf of Mexico on Monday as Tropical Depression Two approaches the region.
The energy company moved all personnel from the Petronius platform to onshore locations, according to a company statement. Chevron also transported nonessential workers from its Tubular Bells and Blind Faith platforms as a precautionary measure.
Production at Chevron's other Gulf of Mexico operations continues at normal levels, the company said.
