Trex Company (NYSE: TREX) has signed a multi-year agreement with Fencing Supply Group (FSG) to serve as the exclusive national distributor of Trex Fencing, according to a press release from the Winchester, Va.-based company.
FSG operates more than 80 locations across the United States and serves professional contractors in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure markets. The agreement expands an existing distribution relationship between the two companies.
"Trex Fencing has been available for nearly two decades but has never had the kind of national distribution that is needed to transform the category," said Adam Zambanini, President and CEO of Trex.
Trex Fencing products are made from composite materials and are designed to last at least 25 years. The product line includes vertical and horizontal picket orientations as well as a split-rail application, and is available in four colors with matching rails and posts.
Brett Hankey, CEO of Fencing Supply Group, said the partnership would expand composite fencing reach across residential, commercial, and HOA communities. "FSG's network of over 80 locations across America gives us the local relationships, inventory reach, and contractor expertise to bring Trex Fencing to market," he said.
Trex Fencing is available through FSG locations, other fencing dealers, and via special order at home center locations.
