VirnetX Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: VHC) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, VirnetX Inc., was granted a Facility Security Clearance (FCL) by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency for its Utah facility on July 16, 2026.
The clearance allows the company to support classified defense and intelligence community contracts. According to a press release, the FCL follows a series of compliance milestones, including DD Form 2345 certifications for its Nevada and Utah facilities in September 2025, a General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule contract in October 2025, and the launch of its iSCOUT platform in June 2026.
"Receiving our Facility Security Clearance is the most consequential security milestone in VirnetX's history," said Kendall Larsen, VirnetX CEO and President. "It is government confirmation that our zero-trust platforms, our people, and our facility are trusted at the highest level."
VirnetX is an internet security software and technology company focused on Zero Trust Network Access solutions for secure network communications, with products aimed at U.S. defense, intelligence, and government agencies.
