Houthis announce immediate maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia

Investing.com -- The Houthi group declared a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia, effective immediately, according to Bloomberg News, citing spokesperson Yahya Saree. The announcement was made on Monday.

The Yemeni Armed Forces stated the blockade comes as a response to what the group describes as Saudi Arabia’s siege on Yemen’s capital city.

Saree called on followers to prepare for all scenarios across all fronts, according to the statement.
