AMC Entertainment posts record quarterly revenue and EBITDA in Q2 2026

AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AMC) reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results on July 20, 2026, with total revenues and Adjusted EBITDA reaching their highest levels in the company's 106-year history, according to a press release from the company.

Total revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reached $1.597 billion, up 14.2% from $1.398 billion in the second quarter of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA rose 69.6% to $321.4 million, compared to $189.5 million in the same period a year earlier.

Net loss for the quarter was $11.4 million, widening from a net loss of $4.7 million in the second quarter of 2025. Adjusted net earnings improved by $104.8 million year over year to $104.3 million.

Net cash provided by operating activities increased 70.1% to $235.4 million. Cash and cash equivalents at June 30, 2026, stood at $778.4 million, excluding restricted cash of $41.1 million, up 83.7% from $423.7 million a year earlier.

For the first half of 2026, total revenues were $2.642 billion, up 16.9% from $2.260 billion in the first half of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA for the first six months rose 172.9% to $359.7 million. Net loss for the period improved by $78.3 million to $128.5 million.

AMC Chairman and CEO Adam Aron said the second quarter results reflect "significant operating leverage inherent in AMC's business model at a time of rising revenues."
