NIQ (NYSE: NIQ) has appointed Irina Stoian as Chief AI Commercial Officer, a newly created position focused on advancing the company's enterprise AI commercial strategy and integrating its AI capabilities into client workflows.
Stoian joins from Palantir Technologies, where she spent nearly six years, most recently serving as Commercial AI Lead. Her work at Palantir spanned AI strategy, commercial operations, go-to-market execution, and enterprise transformation. Prior to that, she held analytics and commercialization roles at Barclays and was recognized by Forbes Romania's 30 Under 30 program.
In her new role, Stoian will work across NIQ's Product, Technology, Commercial, Partnerships, and Marketing functions. Her responsibilities include shaping commercial AI offerings, strategic partnerships, pricing and business models, and integration of NIQ capabilities into client workflows.
"AI is not a feature we are adding to NIQ; it is core to our product strategy," said Jim Peck, Chief Executive Officer of NIQ. "Irina brings exactly the combination of commercial credibility and AI fluency we need to make that strategy land with clients."
Troy Treangen, Chief AI and Product Officer at NIQ, said the role was created "to better connect product strategy, commercialization, and client needs" as AI continues to evolve.
NIQ's AI portfolio includes products such as ConnectAI, NIQ Optiq, and NIQ Cadence. The company operates in more than 90 countries.
