Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) announced the launch of Picolette, an exclusive 60-item baby collection created in collaboration with model and entrepreneur Olivia Culpo, set to debut July 26 in approximately 1,400 stores and on Target.com.
The collection includes baby apparel, accessories, mealtime essentials, keepsakes and gifts. Prices start at $4.99, with most items priced at $18 and under. Target describes it as the retailer's largest baby collaboration to date.
Picolette was developed with licensing partner Bloomin' Baby, the children's division of G Mason Group. The collection features items such as rompers, overall sets, loveys, plush animals, birthday milestone apparel and feeding products including long-sleeve bibs and silicone sippy cups. A diaper bag with an attached fold-out changing pad is also included. Design features include simplified fasteners and silent closures.
Culpo named the collection after her daughter Colette. "Every little outfit becomes part of a memory: coming home from the hospital, first photos, birthdays, everyday moments you'll always remember," Culpo said in the press release statement.
Amanda Nusz, Target's senior vice president of merchandising, said the collection reflects the company's focus on the baby category. "Picolette is a beautiful example of how we're combining elevated design, meaningful storytelling and real-life solutions in one affordable assortment," Nusz said.
Additional limited-time product drops are planned throughout the following year, timed to seasonal occasions and family milestones. Target also noted it is adding nearly 2,000 new baby items across its stores, along with expanded in-store Baby Boutiques and Baby Concierge services.
