Honeywell Aerospace (Nasdaq: HONA) announced that IndiGo, India's largest airline, has selected its avionics and power systems for an order of 810 new Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The company said this represents its largest new-aircraft-selectable equipment win in its history.
Under the agreement, Honeywell Aerospace will supply 131-9A auxiliary power units, advanced weather radar systems, traffic collision avoidance systems, and flight management systems. The deal also includes a long-term aftermarket support program covering maintenance planning and fleet performance optimization.
Honeywell Aerospace has supported IndiGo's operations since 2015 across a current fleet of more than 400 aircraft.
"Honeywell Aerospace has been a valued partner in IndiGo's growth journey, and we are delighted to deepen our relationship with this collaboration," said Willie Walsh, Chief Executive Officer Designate of IndiGo.
Anthony Florian, President of Global Commercial Aftermarket at Honeywell Aerospace, said the selection "underscores the strength of our technology and demonstrates the confidence customers place in Honeywell Aerospace to support reliable, efficient, and safe operations for decades to come."
IndiGo currently operates more than 400 aircraft across 95 domestic and 40 international destinations, and reported more than 123 million customers in fiscal year 2026. The airline's 810-aircraft order represents a significant expansion of its existing fleet.
