CN Energy gets Nasdaq notice for falling below $1 minimum bid
CN Energy Group. Inc. (NASDAQ: CNEY) received a written notice from Nasdaq on July 15, 2026, stating the company is no longer in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), which requires a minimum closing bid price of $1.00 per share.
The notice was issued after CNEY's ordinary shares closed below $1.00 for 30 consecutive business days. The notification does not immediately affect the listing, and shares will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker "CNEY."
Under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the company has a 180-day grace period, until January 12, 2027, to regain compliance. Compliance can be restored if the closing bid price reaches $1.00 or higher for at least ten consecutive trading days during that period. If the company fails to meet the requirement within the initial grace period but satisfies all other listing standards, it may qualify for an additional 180-day extension, subject to Nasdaq staff approval.
The company stated it intends to monitor its share price and evaluate available options to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement.
