Agenus Inc. (Nasdaq: AGEN) announced that three abstracts from investigator-sponsored trials evaluating its drug combination botensilimab and balstilimab (BOT+BAL) have been accepted for poster presentation at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, scheduled for October 23-27 in Madrid, Spain.

The three presentations cover neoadjuvant colorectal cancer, refractory metastatic colorectal cancer, and advanced sarcoma.

The first poster, from the NEOASIS study, will present updated data on neoadjuvant BOT+BAL use in mismatch repair-deficient (dMMR) colorectal cancer. It is scheduled for October 25 and will be presented by Emma Van Den Berg, MD, of the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam.

The second poster will present real-world data from a Spanish expanded access program evaluating BOT+BAL in advanced sarcoma. Carlos López-Jiménez, MD, PhD, of Fundación Jiménez Díaz University Hospital in Madrid will present on October 26.

The third presentation, an ePoster, will cover real-world data from a multicenter study of BOT+BAL in refractory microsatellite-stable/mismatch repair-proficient metastatic colorectal cancer. Louis Piton, MD, of Georges Pompidou European Hospital in Paris will present that data.

According to the company's press release, approximately 1,300 patients have been treated with botensilimab and/or balstilimab across phase 1 and phase 2 clinical trials. Botensilimab is an anti-CTLA-4 antibody, while balstilimab is a PD-1 blocking antibody.
