Optex Systems wins $1.2M Canada armored vehicle contract

Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPXS) has been awarded a $1.2 million contract from General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada to support the Light Armored Vehicle weapon system through the end of 2029, according to a company press release.
The Richardson, Texas-based manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems said the new order brings its total backlog to more than $28.3 million.
Optex, founded in 1987, makes optical sighting systems primarily for U.S. Department of Defense applications, with products installed on vehicles including the Abrams, Bradley, and Stryker families.
