The Trade Desk names Ron Lamprecht as chief business officer

The Trade Desk (NASDAQ: TTD) has appointed Ron Lamprecht as Chief Business Development Officer and Senior Vice President, a newly created role in which he will focus on building strategic partnerships and developing new commercial models. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Vivek Kundra and be based in New York City.
Lamprecht brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and media. He most recently served seven years as Director of Corporate Business Development at Amazon, where he led strategic initiatives and partnerships. Before Amazon, he held leadership roles over an 18-year career at NBCUniversal, including Executive Vice President of Digital Enterprises.
Lamprecht is scheduled to start July 27. His appointment follows recent executive hires including Nate Olmstead as Chief Financial Officer, Sarah Gavin as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, and Kristi Argyilan as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President.
According to a statement based on the company's press release, Kundra said Lamprecht's "deep experience across technology, media, and enterprise business development makes him the ideal leader to help accelerate our next phase of growth."
The Trade Desk is headquartered in Ventura, California, and operates offices across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
