Nano Dimension Ltd. (NASDAQ: NNDM) has agreed to terminate the lease for its corporate headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, effective December 31, 2026, according to a company statement.
The lease was originally signed by MarkForged, Inc. in 2021 and was scheduled to run through 2031. Nano Dimension acquired MarkForged and has since sold it. Through early termination, the company expects to eliminate approximately $38 million in cumulative future lease costs. After a $13 million termination payment, the company projects approximately $25 million in cumulative net cash savings through 2031.
Nano Dimension previously disclosed that the sale of MarkForged was expected to reduce annualized cash burn by approximately $15 million, which included roughly $7.5 million in annualized lease-related savings tied to this headquarters location. The lease termination is presented as achieving those savings through a direct agreement rather than through the divestiture.
The company described the transaction as part of its ongoing cost reduction efforts aimed at lowering cash burn and reducing future lease obligations.
