Weave integrates with Elation Health to cut manual data entry

Weave (NYSE: WEAV) announced an integration with Elation Health, a clinical platform for independent primary care, according to a company press release. The integration connects Weave's patient engagement platform directly to Elation Health's electronic health record (EHR) system.

The integration automatically syncs patient and appointment data between the two platforms, eliminating the need for manual CSV uploads. Additional features include real-time caller identification, automated appointment reminders, two-way texting, automatic write-back of appointment confirmations into Elation Health, and automated review requests following completed appointments.

Weave cited an internal survey of dental practices in which 80% of staff reported spending at least 30 minutes per day on manual data entry, with more than a quarter losing two or more hours daily. The company stated the integration is intended to reduce similar burdens for primary care teams.

"Practices using Elation Health are focused on delivering personal, relationship-driven care, and that means their teams shouldn't be stuck managing software instead of patients," said Scott Chandler, VP of Strategic Partnerships at Weave.

Weave serves more than 40,000 customer locations. Elation Health focuses on independent primary care practices.
