Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) has appointed Dr. Barry Childe as Chief Information Security Officer, according to a company statement.

Childe will oversee cybersecurity strategy and data protection across the company's tokenization, valuation, and data monetization platforms, with a focus on AI security and quantum-resistant technologies.

Childe brings more than 40 years of experience in cybersecurity, high-performance computing, cloud infrastructure, and distributed-ledger technology. He previously served as a Distinguished Engineer at HSBC, where he led blockchain and innovation initiatives, and held senior roles at Barclays Capital, The Royal Bank of Scotland, and VMware. He co-founded Arqit, a quantum-encryption company, and contributed to the development of enterprise platforms including R3 Corda and We.Trade. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

"Datavault AI sits at the intersection of tokenization and post-quantum security, two disciplines that will define the next generation of trusted digital assets," Childe said in the statement.

Nathaniel T. Bradley, CEO of Datavault AI, said Childe's background in cryptography and quantum-resistant security would support the company's infrastructure across tokenization, valuation, and data monetization.

Datavault AI is headquartered in Philadelphia and operates across data monetization, credentialing, digital engagement, and real-world asset tokenization.
