Lockheed Martin wins $10.5B USSOCOM logistics contract

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been awarded a $10.5 billion, 12-year contract by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) to provide logistics and sustainment support, according to a company press release dated July 16, 2026.

The contract, designated Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services II (GLSS2), is described as USSOCOM's largest service contract vehicle. It is a follow-on to previous contracts that Lockheed Martin has managed since 2010.

Under the contract, Lockheed Martin will manage a global supply chain of parts, warehouses and depots, along with aircraft, vehicle and equipment repair, maintenance and modifications, and critical infrastructure support and business process transformation.

Vic Torla, vice president of Lockheed Martin SOF GLSS, said: "For more than 16 years, our teams have relentlessly delivered the logistics and sustainment expertise required to accomplish our nation's most critical missions."

Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS operations are based at Bluegrass Station in Lexington, Kentucky, and the program employs more than 3,300 personnel worldwide. The contract team includes multiple subcontractor partners.
